Tok Sen massage is a type of massage traditional to Northern Thailand that utilizes a wooden mallet and wedge made from the wood of a tamarind tree. Tok means to to strike or tap and Sen refers to the meridian lines in the body. Sen lines are tapped with the mallet to create a resonating, healing vibration.

Sirius Health provides loose fitting massage clothing for clients to wear during their Thai massage. Women who wish to wear a bra for their massage should wear a sports bra.

How early should I come to my appointment?
All Thai massages at Sirius Heath begin with a foot washing, so please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your massage. This will give you time to discuss your treatment with you therapist, change into the massage clothing and still have time for you foot washing before your massage begins.

Where do I park when I arrive?
There is free parking on the west side of Avenue C South, or on any street west of Avenue C South. The east side of Avenue C South and all streets west and north of 19th street are paid parking from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
